Public consultation on Joint Undertakings for the future of European Partnerships under Horizon Europe 2028–2034

A public consultation has been launched inviting stakeholders to help shape the future of European Partnerships under the next EU research and innovation framework programme, Horizon Europe 2028–2034.

The consultation covers the future framework for Joint Undertakings, Article 185 initiatives and the thematic priorities that will guide the next generation of European Partnerships. Its results will contribute to the preparation of the future Single Basic Act for Joint Undertakings and the overall portfolio of partnerships under Horizon Europe 2028–2034.

For the manufacturing community, this is an important opportunity to help ensure that future partnerships continue to support collaborative research, industrial innovation and Europe’s competitiveness. Input from industry, research organisations, SMEs, public authorities and other stakeholders will help shape the design of these key funding instruments.

The consultation is open until 16 October 2026.
