News

We could not be happier with the progress of the Made in Europe programme. To date, 88 projects have been launched, and we have had the pleasure of welcoming newcomers while eagerly anticipating the results of the 2025 projects.

The Made in Europe Additional Activities Plan, developed with the valuable input of EFFRA members, was submitted by EFFRA to the European Commission and subsequently approved. Based on this Plan, in 2024, our members implemented a range of Additional Activities aimed at achieving the General and Specific Objectives of Made in Europe, amounting to a total investment of €9.4 billion.

This year, the release of the   was also in September, which covered all European Partnerships under Horizon Europe, including Made in Europe. You can find the current results here. The intermediary results showcased in the report are highly promising. During the same month, we organised an online pitching session for the Made in Europe Draft Topics for 2025. A recording of this insightful session is available on our YouTube channel. Public consultations have also been launched, with draft call topics for 2025 already shaped.

These developments underline the Made in Europe partnership’s pivotal role in driving innovation and sustainability in manufacturing. As part of this mission, several transformative projects are set to deliver groundbreaking results in 2025. Below, we explore these initiatives and their anticipated impact.
