INSA Lyon is an Engineering School dedicated to Applied Sciences, which makes it a large and unique research center which joins education activities, 22 research laboratories, and industrial partnerships (over 1000 industrial contracts a year). As an academic oriented to industry, our institute is constantly working with companies and the industrial sector looking for technological solutions. The INSA Lyon scientists contribute daily to overcome the essential challenges of research within five main areas: 1) Energy for sustainable development; 2) Environment: natural, industrial and urban environments; 3) Information and digital society; 4) Global health and bioengineering; 5) Transport: structure, infrastructures and mobility.
