The conference “Industrial Technologies 2020 – Transition to a Sustainable Prosperity”, will be held in Mainz under the German Presidency of the Council of the European Union and is organized by the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education (BMBF) and Project Management Jülich (PtJ) together with the European Commission, the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Rhineland-Palatinate – Saarland and the German Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology DECHEMA e.V.

This event provides a platform for stakeholders from research organisations, industry and policy-making to discuss future trends, technological challenges and further steps to shape and strengthen European industrial and research policy in the field of key enabling technologies such as nanotechnologies, advanced materials, biotechnology and advanced manufacturing under the considerations of socially fair transition to a sustainable and green economy.
