University West (Högskolan Väst, HV) is a modern university located in Trollhättan (Sweden) with over 15,000 students and about 700 employees. Through education and research, HV aims to contribute to innovation, social development, and a sustainable world. Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is our overarching profile, and HV applies it in education and research developed in close collaboration with industry, notably through the leading Production Technology Centre. Collaboration with the outside world is a priority for HV, and it results in a high entry rate for the students on the labour market and in more than 80 research projects per year in partnership with companies.
