With 59 years of expertise serving innovation and industry, AIMEN is a national leader in R&D&I and the provision of technological services in the fields of materials, advanced manufacturing processes, digitization, and sustainability. Located in O Porriño (Pontevedra), it has more than 330 highly qualified professionals and a cutting-edge technological ecosystem that includes advanced laboratories and unique pilot plants. The Center develops innovative solutions in key sectors such as mobility, aeronautics, energy, metalworking, and chemicals.
AIMEN is also a leader in laser applications, with its Laser Applications Centre being unique in Spain both for its infrastructure and its team, and one of the leading centres in Southern Europe.
Recognized as one of the most outstanding technology centres in Spain, AIMEN has extensive expertise in projects funded by European programmes such as Horizon Europe. Its network of collaborators, which includes leading companies, universities, and research centres—strengthens its capacity to address the most complex challenges in industry.
