The Center SRIP Factory of the Future, was established within the Jozef Stefan Institute at the beginning of 2017. The main task of this center is coordination, operation and management of the strategic Development and Innovation Partnership Factory of the Future (SRIP FoF). SRIP FoF is the result of governments initiatives and private organizations association, including members from the industry and the academia.
It contributes to the promotion of a cross-sector cooperation within the institute, which includes key enabling technologies in the Factories of the Future domain. In addition to it the SRIP FoF will be contributing and pushing FoF technologies to industry, while actively participating in the development of research and development policies in the field of Factories of the Future in Slovenia in the coming years.
