The European Factories of the Future Research Association (EFFRA) is a strong and growing network of industrial, university, research and related stakeholders with a shared interest in transforming production technologies in Europe. EFFRA was established to shape, promote and support the implementation of the ‘Factories of the Future’ partnership and the Factories of the Future community. EFFRA is the official representative of the manufacturing research community engaged in the European Union’s ‘Factories of the Future’ partnership.
Our members have the opportunity to engage in a creation and consultation programme to produce EFFRA’s strategic research multi-annual roadmap, a key part of the 'Factories of the Future' partnership. Your organisation can also help us to identify the future priorities that are the basis for research call topics. On a regular basis, EFFRA brings together its diverse community through workshops and other members-only events. You can share your experiences and learn from other members, especially from the industrial companies, about the latest technologies and their plans for the future. Network building can also contribute to the formation for research consortia that take part in the Horizon 2020 competitions. Involvement in EFFRA helps to raise the profiles of your organisation via our online communication channels where we often promote members' events and activities.
Interested to join? We would be delighted to provide you with more information on our expanding network, on the membership application process, on benefits and fees. Let us guide you through the necessary steps of becoming a member and help us better understand your needs and concerns.
