The Interuniversity Consortium for Organisation and Operations Research (ICOOR) is a research centre which aims to promote and coordinate research in the field of operations research and related domains. ICOOR members are seven of Italy’s leading universities.
ICOOR’s aims are represented by two pillars:
- Optimisation (i.e. models available to maximise the effectiveness of technological products and processes including the identification of the very best reduction of alternatives and choices).
- Smartness (i.e. the most advanced and valuable algorithms which turn technology into intelligent and adaptable machines).
